York Mills is a very affluent neighbourhood with large properties, old trees and quiet streets. Because of its prominent location, York Mills shares the high-end lifestyle with the Bridle Path and Lawrence Park neighbourhoods. Close to Toronto’s best public and private schools, numerous parks and prestigious Golf Clubs, this neighbourhood has it all. There is also plenty of excellent shopping; York Mills Plaza, The York Mills Centre, to the north is The Bayview Village Shopping Centre and to the south is Shops at Don Mills. With easy access to major highways, city through-ways and convenient TTC, York Mills is an upscale desirable location.
The saw and flour mills that once turned along the Don River have been replaced with office buildings and luxury condominiums.
